We visited this restaurant on Mother's Day and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Keep in mind that they serve fresh ingredients, so it takes a little while—about 15-20 minutes—for the food to arrive after you place your order. However, I would say the wait is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place!

The food was delicious, the staff was great and the drinks were good too. I don't have any complaints. We had the steak fajitas and birria tacos. I'd go back again. Also who doesn't love a happy hour!

Liked the food. Plenty of parking. Like the service very friendly. must try Brussel sprouts. I ordered grilled chicken fajitas and it was amazing. Wish they could have had chicken portion. It felt less compared to what I see in this dish.

Visited here for the second time today to make sure it wasn't a fluke, and I can safely say I really like this place. I got the fish tacos, my wife got the shrimp tacos, and we both enjoyed our meals. I can also recommend the guava limonada, and my wife's Mexican mule was tasty as well. We were seated within 60 seconds and the waitress checked on us frequently (but not frequently enough to be bothersome) to make sure we had everything we needed. It was also about 20-30 cheaper than a usual lunch for the two of us, which is a definite win.

Loved the food and ambience. We ordered the Cava Nachos, Fajita and had the Lava Choco Cake for dessert. Loved their Margaritas and Sangria.

my first time here! I previously went to Plaza Santa Fe and it was terrible. I didn’t know this place was here, so I tried it for the first time today and although the prices are higher, they Offered dishes other than Mexican restaurants I’ve been to do not. Tonight we ordered the kids quesadilla with fries and the kids nachos and the steak fajita. The cheese quesadilla is well it’s a simple dish but it was good The french fries are also good. my daughter ordered the nachos and it came with melted cheddar cheese on top which she didn’t care for so we found out that they have a white cheese sauce which they said has jalapeño in it, but I’m really sensitive to spice and I didnt taste the jalapeño so we asked for that instead. this cheese is absolutely amazing. We also dipped out fries in it. I ordered my steak fajita without green peppers instead, I got mushrooms and zucchini and onions and replace the guacamole with avacado. I’m not too sure like the cut of steak that it comes with, and I’m not quite sure I like the taste of whatever they put the vegetables in but overall with the food that I received tonight along with the atmosphere and how nice employees are five stars hands-down. i’m a huge food critic and it’s really hard to find good Mexican Restaurants. Although they don’t have my favorite dish at this restaurant, they do have dishes that of the restaurants don’t Offer I will definitely be back here to try their chimichangas.

Cava Azul Cocina & Cantina is a hidden culinary gem, and here's the tasty breakdown of why it's a must-visit with a side of humor: - **Indoor-Outdoor Dilemma:** You're faced with a crucial decision here - indoor comfort or basking in the warm embrace of the sun on a glorious day. Picture this: an outdoor seat, sun-kissed and breeze-brushed. Totally worth it! - **Food Fiesta:** Brace your taste buds for a flavor fiesta. The food is not just delicious; it's an edible masterpiece. We ordered an army of dishes - enchilada verdes, the California burrito (the real heavyweight champ), chicken tortilla soup, and a cheese quesadilla along with many sides. You'd think we were feeding an entire mariachi band, but no, just four of us! Portions are titanic, and flavors are out of this world. - **Service with a Smile:** The staff wears welcoming smiles like it's a uniform requirement. They're cheerful, timely, and sprinkle a little extra happiness on your dining experience. - **The Must-Eat Zone:** You don't just recommend Cava Azul, you insist on it. It's the place where your culinary cravings are turned into reality. In sum, Cava Azul Cocina & Cantina is like a flavor expedition where taste meets delight. With indoor and outdoor seating options, deliciously oversized dishes, and a staff that radiates sunshine, it's a culinary adventure you don't want to miss. Highly recommended for anyone who wants their taste buds to salsa!

Cava Azul knocked it out of the park! Fantastic atmosphere and decor that was eye catching to look at. Attentive and courteous service throughout. To finish out the trifecta, the food was so scrumptious! Salsa trio with chips were flavorful and well balanced. Main courses also full of great textures and flavors. Highly recommend the beer braised black beans, I consider myself always on the hunt for great black beans and these just sky-rocketed to the top of my list! We will definitely be back and share the experience with others.
